Tuesday for summer learning journey,We have to interview three people about what they are proud of this year,here is mine. 
Addison:she is proud of going to canteamaths

Summer Learning Journey- Teaser Task 1

WALT:For this activity,We had to create four new similes. I had to use the starters below or you can make up your own.For the next two weeks we are doing the summer learning journey teaser when we have to choose one activity to complete and post everyday.

My Super Power

This week we had to choose a skill we are good at  and I chose baking.Every Monday a lady comes in to our class and talks about the future and what we want to be when we grow up.  Once we had chosen what we were good at we had to think about all of the skills we needed and were learning when we were doing this activity.

    

Earthquake Drill T4

This week we have been doing a earthquake drill.  We did it on National Shakeout day for safety reasons.
First we pretended their was an earthquake and had to go under the desk for about a minute.  Then we were told there was a possible tsunami so we had to evacuate all the buildings and then we had to run up the closest in case a tsunami happens, and we also had to teach the younger kids what to do.

Three weeks ago it was Grandparents day and we had to write acrostic poems for our Nana and Granddad.  My favourite line is Absolutely love me the best out of my brothers and sisters because it is true. Literacy Reflection T4 W7

This week for Literacy I did Naughty or Nice you had to tell something that you are nice and something that you have been Naughty. What I like'd about this is that it was hard but not to hard.

Literacy Numeracy Reflections T4W5

This week for word work I have been doing silly sentences. What I like about this is I like to learn spelling words. I found this easy because it is fun to do. What I found hard was the word tail.

This week for numeracy I have been doing problem solving. What I like about this is that I like to count in tens. I found this easy because I like counting in tens. What I don't like about this is that it was a bit easy. I need to do a harder problem next week.

This week for my literacy reading DLO I had to explain what I could infer from a piece of writing. What I like about this is that I like to write. What I found easy was the question what do you see around you. What I didn't like about this was I found it hard to think of an idea for what is going to happen to our hero next.

This week for topic I did water safety I did Learn to swim and survive so you have to learn swim and to survive. so you don't drown or anything like that.
